RosUpack 2021 – how it was
From 15 to 18 June, the main event of the packaging industry – the RosUpack exhibition - took place in Moscow.
Traditionally, our company has presented the package for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industry. Despite restrictions connected with the pandemic, the exhibition went over with a bang. Furthermore, RosUpack is the only event worldwide in the packaging industry this season. Sergey Kochetov, commercial director of the „Present upakovka“ LLC will tell in detail about the results of the exhibition:
„We take part in the exhibition hardly the first year. Every time we come with the presentation of any product innovations. This time, visitors highlighted the main key points by themselves: in connection with the introduction of the compulsory marking of dairy products, the possibility of printing the transient information on the package was met with great interest. Despite the high speed of printing Data Matrix codes, we guarantee good readability thanks to printing classes not lower than А and В.
In addition, visitors to the stand were interested in PET-Sealing lids and the new kind of embossing – SMART-embossing. PET lids are perfectly suitable for use in the microwave oven, and thanks to the transparent base surface, the customer can consider the product directly in the shop. Unlike a common aluminum sealing lid, there is no need to sort it additionally – PET and glass are utilized in one container. For now, several manufacturers in Russia already work with PET, and the production widens. As one more advantage, the speed can be called – common foil lids will become more expensive than innovative PET-sealing lids.
SMART-embossing is an alternative for a smooth sealing lid; it provides a possibility to obtain premium-class packaging for the optimal price without loss in quality.
In the course of the exhibition, we announced the start of the second production site of our enterprise. This year, we will start the manufacturing of pharmaceutical packages in the new factory. The blister foil will be manufactured under worldwide quality standards – GMP and ISO15378 in clean rooms with a total area of 200 m2. In such a way, the volume of fabricated products will increase up to 135 tons per month.
As a result of negotiations carried out during the exhibition, not only the appearance of new contacts will be called but also strengthening partnership relations with current customers, and the marketing of perspective innovations as well.
