Two aluminum layers with PET between them is an innovative ‘alupet’ packaging design developed by MILK. Non-reactivity of aluminum provides barrier properties to the lid, while the fiber structure of polyethylene terephthalate adds excellent tear and puncture resistant properties. Multilayer structure of the alulid offers the highest tear resistance over the entire range of die cut lids. It successfully withstands mechanical damages during transportation and never tears while opening. This means no spillages and no customer dissatisfaction.

Double aluminum means double protection against light, oxygen and moisture. The Alu-PET-Alu lids securely enclose freshness of the product inside the packaging preventing bacteria contamination and soaking up of external aroma.

Alu-PET-Alu lids have a heat seal lacquer coating on the inner side of the lid allow for firm adhesion to most types of food plastic. Variable sealing temperature allows for usage of the lids with delicate yogurts, desserts and dairy products.
