Our Auditors at SAYANAL

A group of auditors from the Packaging Factory MILK has inspected one of our major suppliers, a foil producer - SAYANAL, UK Rusal group. We regularly control how our raw material providers maintain the necessary quality standards to guarantee that our products are 100 percent compliant to the food and pharma packaging requirements to our own clients.

The auditors analyzed the contractor’s documentation, inspected their rolling, lacquering and laboratory workshops. At manufactory site, the representatives of the Packaging Factory MILK were mainly interested in how the operator reacts when detecting defects, in his corrective actions, in how the equipment is cleaned, in corrective and preventive measures for sanitary and hygiene, in how often and how many testing samples are selected for probation. In the laboratory, our specialists examined the gauge check scheduler. Other questions were resolved during the final audit meeting, in particular we clarified time limits for responding to defect claims.

Thanks to Rusal’s long-term experience, qualification of their personnel and the company’s general transparent policy, our communication has become highly productive and we could get answers to all our questions in a very quick and professional manner.

Auditing SAYANAL - is one of a series of events on our agenda for toughening quality requirements for raw materials supplied to our plant. As a result, we expect absolute quality assurance for our clients.
